New Video…Estelle….

Earlier thie week Estelle dropped her latest video for her song ‘Come on Over’ featuring Sean Paul. I’m a huge Estelle fan and I’m hoping this song sees the success of ‘American Boy’!

New Music….

Kelly Rowland – Blaze «LISTEN»
Miss Kelly’s back with a somewhat mellow song.  Its a little on the average side compared to some of her previous stuff but I still have faith that it will do well for her.  The lyrics are good, the beats are tight and the inspiration from Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes is duly noted!

Bow Wow feat T-Pain – She’s My «LISTEN»
For some reason Bow Wow has been struggling to keep up with his peers lately.  His partnership with Omarion worked well but his solo stuff kinda struggles.  It seems he’s trying to step up his game a bit and in doing so he has pulled in one of the biggest hit makers for this new joint!  This one will have to grow on me.

Kanye West – Robocop «LISTEN»
Kanye seems to have a golden thumb when it comes to music and this song keeps up with that reputation. As usual this song is not like anything else he has done but it jumps into your head and makes you do a head bop.  This is definately one for the Ipod!

John Legend – Set Me Free «LISTEN»
This is a bonus track from John Legend’s latest album Revolver.  I’ve been a John Legend fan from he first hit the scene and sent people into ‘Ordinary People’ overkill, but lately his stuff hasn’t been as motivating to me.  This new song has a laid back feel that I will have to get used to but I kinda miss to old John.  Needless to say that above all, his vocals are always on point!

If I Were A Rich Kid….

Looking for a new and unusual pet?  If your pocket can reach as far, you might want to get yourself a white lion cub!  Sure they only cost around £72,000 ($138,000), but since they are quite hard to come by you’ll be the envy of all your friends!

Our Prayers Are With You…

We offer our deepest sympathy and towards Oscar winning American actress and singer Jennifer Hudson who’s mother (Darnell Donnerson) and brother (Jason) were found shot to death in her mother’s Chicago home on Friday. Police are also said to be searching for a suspect in the double homicide and also for a seven-year-old boy assumed to be Hudson’s nephew, who was missing from the house.  Read full story HERE

We wish her strength in her time of need.

UPDATE: Jennifer’s seven year old nephew Julian was found murdered.  This all must be very difficult for her and her family and we continue to pray for strength in their time of need.

Go Get Bodied….

German anatomist Gunther von Hagens opens his latest exhibition today in London.  Von Hagen’s exhibition features preserved human and animal bodies depicting in true form, life’s journey from birth to death. About 200 human and animal specimens, both full corpses and individual organs, are on show at the O2 arena until August 23.  The process of creating his exhibits involves preserving them through the ‘plastination’ process von Hagens developed in 1977 to stop decay.  There has been some controversy over his exhibits in the past but that has never stopped him drawing a crowd!  To find out more about the exhibition, click HERE

I Guess I Didn’t Get The Memo….

Someone must have forgotten to tell me that the Credit Crunch was over otherwise I would be at a loss to understand how this painting by graffiti artist Banksy, entitled Tesco Value Tomato Soup, was sold at auction for £117,600 (It was originally estimated at £80,000).  Read full story HERE

Anyway I’m on my way to Poundstretcher to pick up some paint, paintbrushes and canvas cause I have bills to pay!

Vicki Does Vogue…

Former Spice Girl, full-time wife/mom/ socialite Victoria Beckham goes ethnic for the November cover of Vogue India magazine.  Posing as an Indian Bride, Beckham graced the cover in her usual high-glam style.  The issue hits the stands in a few weeks.  I wonder if this means her fashion line will soon have an Indian twist also!
